The Zakat Information feature helps investors calculate the amount of zakat payable based on their Bursa Gold Dinar (BGD) gold holdings.

A Muslim investor’s zakat obligation arises once their gold holdings reach the nisab threshold of 85 grams, upon completing haul (the prescribed holding period of one Gregorian calendar year).

However, this obligation resets if the gold holdings fall below 85 grams within that period.
