The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.

The underlying physical gold is insured and stored in a secured vault located in Malaysia, operated by a vault operator appointed by Bursa Malaysia Digital Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as BM Digital Sdn. Bhd.). Bursa Malaysia Digital Sdn. Bhd. also appoints a trustee to act as the custodian of all monies handled on the platform.
