Important Security Alert - Unauthorized Trading Activities

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.

What is a Bursa Gold Dinar (BGD) account?

A Bursa Gold Dinar (BGD) account is a free, non-trading account with limited access. Account holders can view certain features of the BGD platform but cannot perform any transactions.

 

If you would like to start buying or selling, you will need to upgrade your account to a trading account by taking a picture of your ID, a selfie, update your personal information, and undergo FATCA and a Common Reporting Standard (CRS) declaration. In less than three (3) business days, you will be able to start trading gold via you Bursa Gold Dinar (BGD) trading account.
