BCX is offering both continuous trading (spot trading) and facilitate off-market transactions (OTC deals) for the RECs market. The rules for RECs trading will be similar to carbon credits in which a bare trustee model is still applicable meaning that suppliers of RECs are required to transfer their RECs to the BCX Unit Custodian Account and buyers are required to transfer their funds to BCX Cash Custodian Account.
