BTS3 is targeted for go-live in September 2028, with infrastructure decommissioning scheduled to occur no later than six months thereafter. The date has been deliberately chosen to account for the time required for implementation and to avoid key market events including MSCI rebalancing periods and major public holidays.

The first major milestone is the delivery of message specifications to all connecting parties, planned for September 2026. This will provide participants with the necessary information to evaluate and identify the required changes in their respective systems.

Further milestones include the availability of the test system, the External User Acceptance Test (EUAT) environment, and the commencement of industry-wide testing. Conformance testing has been incorporated into the overall project plan.
