While trading experience can be beneficial, it is not a requirement to apply for FTAP. We welcome individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, life experiences, and educational qualifications.
We encourage application from candidates who possess a strong interest in trading and demonstrate the competencies we are looking for.
To be eligible for FTAP, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Malaysian citizenship.
- Minimum qualification of a diploma. Fresh graduates from colleges or universities are encouraged to apply.
The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the programme:
- Employees of Bursa Malaysia Berhad and its subsidiaries, including permanent and contract staff of the Organiser and the Training Provider.
- Individuals affiliated with businesses engaged in organised trading activities, such as proprietary trading firms, hedge funds, or high-frequency trading operations. This includes employees, affiliates, and owners.
- Local Participants and traders currently enrolled in the Retail Transaction Incentive Programme with Bursa Malaysia Derivatives.
- Individuals holding a Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licence (CMSRL) issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia.
