Important Security Alert - Unauthorized Trading Activities

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.

Can I still register for Bursa Anywhere if I don't have a hard copy of my CDS statement with the six-digit password phrase?

Yes, you can still register for Bursa Anywhere even if you don’t have the password phrase.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Register your email address with the ADA (Authorised Depository Agent or Broker) where your CDS account is maintained. If you have multiple CDS accounts, you only need to register one with the ADA.
  2. Once your email is registered, download the Bursa Anywhere mobile app and sign up for a Bursa Anywhere account.
