Malaysian individuals who meet the following criteria can submit an application to open a new CDS account through Bursa Anywhere:

✔ Possess a valid MyKad
✔ Aged 18 or older at the time of application submission
✔ Not an undischarged bankrupt under the Bankruptcy Act 1967
✔ Not classified as a “mentally disordered person” under the Mental Disorders Ordinance 1952

For Non-Malaysians and Permanent Residents of Malaysia, CDS accounts can be opened by contacting a preferred Authorised Depository Agent (ADA), also known as a Broker.
