The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.
Please contact your broker immediately if you believe you are affected.
Every transaction made via the Bursa Anywhere mobile app is protected by two-factor authentication (2FA). Users must first log in using their user ID and password.
As an additional security measure, a Transaction Authorisation Code (TAC) will be sent only to the mobile number registered in our database. The user must enter this SMS TAC to complete the transaction securely.
