Important Security Alert - Unauthorized Trading Activities

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.

Can I participate in an electronic Dividend Reinvestment Plan corporate exercise (eDRP) via Bursa Anywhere?

Yes, you can participate in the eDRP via Bursa Anywhere provided that:
• The issuer has appointed Bursa Depository Sdn Bhd to facilitate the eDRP service via Bursa Anywhere mobile app;
• It is an application that corresponds with the dividend reinvestment entitlement attached to the applicable securities in your CDS Account;
• Within the date and time period as decided by the issuer and/or share registrar; and
• You are eligible to apply for the DRP securities in Malaysia or in jurisdictions where the DRP offering is intended to be available.
