Important Security Alert - Unauthorized Trading Activities

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.

Please contact your broker immediately if you believe you are affected.

Why was my Rights securities application through Bursa Anywhere eRights Service rejected before the closing date, despite a successful payment via the payment gateway?

Your Rights securities application subscription may have been rejected due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Technical issues within the network or system
  2. Payment was made from a bank account that differs from the one registered with Bursa Malaysia Depository's eDividend service

If the issue is technical, please email bursaanywhere@bursamalaysia.com and attach the necessary screenshots and details to assist our team in investigating.
