Important Security Alert - Unauthorized Trading Activities

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.

Can I still use the Bursa Gold Dinar app if my phone does not meet the minimum operating system (OS) requirements?

You can still use the Bursa Gold Dinar app without updating to Android 12 or iOS 15, but some key features—like cash top-ups, withdrawals, and gold transactions—may not work.

To ensure full access and the best experience, we recommend updating your OS. Here’s how:

For iOS Devices:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Select Software Update
  4. Install the latest available version

For Android Devices:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to System or About phone
  3. Tap Software Update or System update
  4. Click Check for updates
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions
