Important Security Alert - Unauthorized Trading Activities

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.

Please contact your broker immediately if you believe you are affected.

How do I link my CDS Account to MyBURSA?

To link your CDS Account with MyBURSA, you may follow the steps below.

 

If you already have a MyBURSA account: 

1. Visit my.bursamalaysia.com and go to your Dashboard

2. Click on "CDS eServices" on the left of your navigation menu

3. Enter your ID number that your CDS account is registered under

4. You will receive a prompt to confirm your account linking action

5. Agree to the terms and conditions and follow the CDS account linking process

6. After successfully linking your CDS account, you will be able to view your CDS account information on your MyBURSA dashboard

 

If you do not have a MyBURSA account: 

1. Visit my.bursamalaysia.com and register for a free MyBURSA account by clicking on the "Register" button

2. Follow the instructions to open an account on MyBURSA

3. Once you have completed the registration process, click on "CDS eServices" on the left of your navigation menu

3. Enter your ID number that your CDS account is registered under

4. You will receive a prompt to confirm your account linking action

5. Agree to the terms and conditions and follow the CDS account linking process

6. After successfully linking your CDS account, you will be able to view your CDS account information on your MyBURSA dashboard

 

*Please note that if you have not previously registered your email address to receive CDS eStatements, you will need to enter your 6-digit Password Phrase that can be found on your hard copy CDS statement. If you are unable to locate your Password Phrase, please contact bursaanywhere@bursamalaysia.com for assistance.
