To register as an Issuer on the BR Capital platform, you must meet the following criteria:
Eligibility requirements
- Be a validly established business that is currently operating and registered in Malaysia (e.g. sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability partnership, private limited company, or public listed/unlisted company);
- Be incorporated in Malaysia and/or registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia or the Registrar of Businesses;
- Maintain an active bank account in your own name or company name (where applicable) with a financial institution in Malaysia that supports electronic payments or telegraphic transfers;

Have no adverse records (e.g. significant legal actions, liquidation, winding-up, bankruptcy, sanctions or blacklist) involving:
- the Issuer;

its shareholders, directors, and/or partners;
unless such matters have been resolved (with specific considerations applicable to public listed companies);
- Have a valid email address for receiving electronic communications and account access;
- Ensure that your business is Shariah-compliant, if you intend to raise funds via Islamic Investment Notes; and
- Meet any additional requirements as may be specified by BR Capital from time to time.
Once registered and your financing application is approved, you will be eligible to raise funds on the BR Capital platform.
Entities not permitted to raise funds
The following entities are not eligible to raise funds on the platform:
- Entities with commercially or financially complex structures (e.g. investment fund companies or financial institutions);
- Companies without a specific business plan, or whose plan involves merging with or acquiring an unidentified entity (i.e. blind pool);
- Companies intending to use the funds raised to provide loans or make investments in other entities; and
- Any other entities as specified by the Securities Commission Malaysia.
