The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia had received reports on Thursday afternoon, 24 April 2025, whereby a few brokers have identified failed client logins or unauthorised access and trading activities executed via limited clients' online trading accounts.
Please contact your broker immediately if you believe you are affected.
eDividend payments are processed using the MEPS Inter-Bank GIRO (IBG) service. If the bank you wish to use offers this service, then you may use this as the bank of choice for your eDividend payments.
However, please do check with your bank as most overseas and digital banks do not offer the MEPS Inter-Bank GIRO service.
