Yes, you can open a new CDS account via Bursa Anywhere. However, you cannot open multiple CDS accounts with the same ADA (Authorised Depository Agent), also known as a "Broker".

You can download the Bursa Anywhere app from the App Store and Google Playstore.

To open a Bursa Anywhere account if you are an existing CDS e-Statement subscriber with Bursa Malaysia Depository, just follow the instructions to register on the Bursa Anywhere app, fill in the registration details and answer the security question(s). Key in the SMS TAC confirmation and you are done. 

To open a Bursa Anywhere account if you are a non-CDS eStatement subscriber with Bursa Malaysia Depository, you will need the unique 6-digit Password Phrase provided in your hardcopy CDS statement of accounts and notices to register with an email address. Validate the email address with the email verification code that will be sent to your email address. Subsequently, complete the registration on the Bursa Anywhere app and answer the security question(s). Key in the SMS TAC confirmation and you're done.
